What affects the price
No two animals are priced exactly the same. These are the things that make the biggest difference:
- Breed. Boer Goats, Kalahari Reds, Savannas, Dorpers and Meatmasters each have their own market.
- Grade. Commercial animals suit meat and general farming; Grade B and Grade A animals are selected for breeding quality.
- Age. Young stock, ewes and does in their prime, and mature rams or bucks are priced differently.
- Sex. Breeding males and females are priced separately.
- Quantity. Larger orders can be quoted as a batch.
- Delivery distance. Transport is quoted on top, based on where the animals are going.

Buying from a supplier vs auctions and classifieds
Auctions and online classifieds can work, but you often only see the animal on the day, and there's little support afterwards. Buying from a supplier means you can ask questions first, see photos and videos of the actual animals, visit the farm in Bapsfontein, and get help with transport. Our stock is vaccinated before it leaves the farm, and we're happy to talk through breed choice before you commit.
Bulk orders
Buying for a commercial flock, a feedlot or a large event? Tell us the breed, numbers, ratio of males to females and when you need them. We'll come back with availability, a batch price and a transport quote. The earlier you ask, the easier it is for us to source.
