Two hardy South African meat breeds
We focus on two sheep breeds that were developed in South Africa for meat and do well in local conditions. Neither needs shearing, which keeps management simple.
Dorper. The best-known South African meat sheep, with a blocky build and a reputation for doing well on veld grazing. See Dorper sheep for sale.
