About the Kalahari Red
The Kalahari Red was developed in South Africa specifically for our climate. Their dark red coat reflects sun, their pigmented skin resists sunburn, and they cope better than most breeds with heat, drought and poor grazing. They're also strong walkers, which suits extensive farming systems.
Commercially they hold their own next to the Boer — slightly slower growing but more hardy in tougher veld. We see strong demand from farmers in Limpopo, North West, Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape, and we deliver nationwide.
What we typically have in stock
We supply Kalahari Red rams, ewes and kids. Stock rotates weekly, so if you don't see what you need today, message us — we can let you know what's coming in. All animals are vaccinated before they leave the farm, and we can arrange transport to anywhere in South Africa.
